Reminder - Election Deadlines and Millage Questions

The last day to get millage questions (i.e. roads, ambulance, fire) to the COUNTY CLERK is May 14, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. If your municipality wants to place a millage question on the August 2018 ballot and you have not already approved the language and transmitted it to the county clerk, you have only a short window of time in which to do so. If your municipality's May meeting is after May 14, 2018 and you still want to get something in for August 2018, you may have to hold a special meeting.
