Attorney Nicole E Essad joined Bauckham Thall in 2025 as the firm expanded to include parts of Northern Michigan. She graduated from Valparaiso School of Law in 2015 and has been a member of the Michigan Bar since 2016. After law school, she worked at Young, Graham, Wendling, PC practicing mainly municipal law. Nicole handles a wide range of issues for municipal clients, including ordinance enforcement, FOIA, the Open Meeting Act, zoning, special assessment districts, plat amendments, and legal research. Nicole has also served as a village clerk and village zoning administrator. Nicole’s practice is focused on Northern Michigan, where she is based.
