MTA Conference 2016 a great success!
Many thanks and hats off to all MTA employees who worked so diligently to make the 2016 Conference a huge success! We appreciate your efforts as much as we appreciate being part of it! If any of you missed the teaching presentations by Bauckham Sparks attorneys Thall, Seeber, and Kaufman and want the most current information on fire codes, medical marijuana, sign regulations after the Supreme Court ruling in Reed v Town of Gilbert, construction codes, special assessments, or roads, please don’t hesitate to give us a call! Bauckham Sparks attorney Rob Thall also sat in on the MTA’s “Ask the Experts” panel and, as always, welcomes any other questions you may have.
We also want to thank the hundreds of you who dropped by the Bauckham Sparks booth at this year’s Expo! We appreciated seeing the familiar faces of current clients and enjoyed meeting many fine township folk from as near as Bloomingdale and as far Ishpeming … You made our experience there fun and rewarding, and we thank you for playing “Tag Your Township,” letting us take and display your photos (for a complete look at everyone who made it to the Big Screen, please click this link: http://slideonline.com/presentation/108260-mta-expo-2016), and entering our booth prize drawing.
Of course, while many entered, only one could take home the Confections with Convictions basket brimming with Made in Michigan, organic, fair trade certified chocolates. So our congratulations go to lucky winner Sheryl Tussey from Markey Township! We hope you (and your husband and three kids!) enjoy the many unique treats cooked up by Kalamazoo chocolatier Dale Anderson. For those of you who didn’t win and still want to try the best tasting chocolate this side of the Mississippi, visit Dale’s website at confectionswithconvictions.com.
Once again, ours hats are off to the MTA for another successful conference! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
