New Construction Code Library under way!
For those municipalities that have joined or are considering joining the Southwest Michigan Construction Code Library, we have good news and an update for you: nearly 21 municipalities have expressed interest in joining the library and we have financial commitments from many of those.
In an effort to get the project off the ground, Mottville Township has offered to front the construction costs for the renovations to its hall that will permit key-card outside access by building officials. We are excited to announce that a contractor has been selected and construction is to begin by the end of April, 2015.
The library’s computer is already on-site and we have begun ordering our books.
