
Seth T. Koches
Senior Associate Seth Koches joined Bauckham Sparks in 2015 after serving as an attorney in the prosecutor's offices for Kalamazoo and Oakland Counties. He has extensive experience in Michigan's district, circuit and probate courts.
In addition to his law degree from Cooley Law, Seth attended Misericordia University and earned an MBA from Wilkes University. He lives in Kalamazoo with his wife, Aubrey. Seth is also a long-time skier and runner, with over half a dozen marathons under his belt.
Municipal Practice Focus
Seth's practice focuses on a wide range of municipal matters including prosecution and ordinance enforcement, general zoning and land use. Seth has extensive experience in civil litigation, contract review, conditional transfer of property agreements, annexation and installment purchase agreements. Seth also defends municipalities against civil rights complaints. His broad range of municipal work also includes reviewing contacts, ordinance drafting, attending municipal Board meetings, Planning Commission and ZBA meetings.
