Robert E. Thall is a 1988 graduate of Michigan State University (B.A.).  He received his legal education at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School (J.D., with distinction, 1991).   While receiving his legal education, he provided services as a legal intern to the 60+ elder law clinic in Lansing, Michigan.  He joined the firm in 1991 and has practiced in the areas of municipal law and estate planning since such time.

His present practice includes representation of townships throughout the state.  In addition to general township representation, he also serves as Chief Prosecutor for Kalamazoo Township and represents a number of municipalities in Michigan Tax Tribunal matters.  He also continues to be active in representing private clients with their corporate and estate planning needs.

Mr. Thall has lectured at seminars sponsored by the Michigan Townships Association including their Annual Educational Conference and their Annual Attorney Institute.  He has also lectured on Estate Planning.

On a personal level, Mr. Thall is a dedicated spouse and father.  He is active in his community through his involvement in the Knights of the Round Table public service organization and his involvement at various levels with youth soccer.  He has served as a division director and coach with the American Youth Soccer Organization for Kalamazoo.
